Bo Jardine
Chief Executive Officer
Bo Jardine AFNI is the CEO and a founder of Eureka Naval Craft.
Bo is also a Managing Partner and founder of 1852 Solutions Ltd, a U.S.-based energy and maritime advisory solutions provider focused on providing bespoke subject matter expert support to clients seeking to unlock value through innovation and network collaboration, with a focus on harnessing a forward-looking approach and his extensive industry network connections to deliver sustainable and commercially beneficial solutions within the international offshore energy, maritime, and naval defense sectors. Bo, presently and in his past, holds/ held global leadership and advisory board roles within the offshore energy (oil & gas and offshore renewables) and maritime industries, spanning over two and a half decades, including at Shell and BG Group, where he led commercial maritime strategy and developed new technologies. Bo graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a B.S. degree in International Maritime Business, a program he helped found. Bo is also an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, a lifetime member of the Maritime Technical Society (MTS), and a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).
Chief Operating Officer
Jerome Arnold is the COO and a founder of Eureka Naval Craft.
Jerome is also the Managing Director and co-founder of AIRCAT Vessels SAS, a company that develops, promotes, builds, and markets next-generation SES crew boats for the Energy sector. With over 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry, Jerome has held various Managing Director positions in service companies before specializing in Marine Logistics, including 6 years in Angola as a Marine Operations Manager. Jerome holds a diploma in Naval Architecture. With his extensive knowledge of the Oil & Gas maritime environment, he has partnered with the most experienced naval architects from ESNA to develop vessel designs for the offshore energy industry that surpass existing models in safety, comfort, speed, and operating costs.
Chief Naval Architect
Trygve Espeland is Chief Naval Architect and a founder of Eureka Naval Craft
Trygve is also the co-founder of ESNA AS, a world-leading design house for Surface Effect Ship (“SES”), where he develops ship designs and licenses them to shipyards to build ESNA-designed vessels. ESNA focuses on SES and solutions for low and zero emissions and operates today in offshore wind, oil and gas crew transfer, fast ferries, and military markets. Trygve has unique world-leading experience with all stages of SES design, from early sketches, feasibility studies, system design, detail design, construction, commissioning, trialing, crew training, vessel maintenance, and troubleshooting. In addition to SES design, he also has experience with multiple fast ship designs and low and zero-emissions fuels. In the past, he has worked with various SES navy designs and studies for several NATO countries, including Norway, the UK, and the US, for naval applications such as mine countermeasures and mine hunting, landing crafts, fast patrol boats, littoral combat crafts, and coastal corvettes, in addition to hovercrafts. This experience includes integrating military equipment and adapting vessels to various military operations, structure design to shock loads, and radar signatures.
Chief Defense Officer
Mike Jankowski FCIS is Chief Defense Officer and a founder of Eureka Naval Craft.
Mike is also CEO of Trident Offshore Projects LLC, a U.S.-registered company focused on Maritime Security and International Defense undertakings (NATO and Partner Nations) and facilitating effective solutions to often complicated tasks in challenging environments. Trident was founded in 2018, with representative offices in the UK and Singapore. Trident comprises both former and currently serving UK Armed Forces personnel with tactical track records, first-hand working knowledge of defense systems and solutions, and unique access to key decision makers within U.K. Special Forces, wider Ministry of Defense A Block programs as well as other leading NATO allies and partners, including U.S. Special Operations. Mike has a diverse background and knowledge not only in defense and military matters but also 16 years of specialist Offshore and Project Shipbroking, where he is highly regarded and recognized as an industry leader and subject matter expert across his fields of expertise, providing clients with bespoke project support, contract negotiation and broking services in relation to newbuilds, sale and purchase and chartering of specialized offshore assets and equipment. Mike is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Shipbrokers and has worked for several high-profile shipbroking houses throughout his career where he has a proven track record of success in providing effective solutions for a wide international client base.
Eduard Ercegovic
EVP of Technical Operations
Capt. Eduard Ercegovic is EVP of Technical Operations for Eureka Naval Craft.
Capt. Eduard is also a co-founder and Technical Director of AIRCAT Vessels SAS. He holds a master’s degree in Maritime Transport – Nautical Studies, a Diploma in Naval Architecture, and a Master Unlimited CoC. With extensive experience in modern vessels ranging from commercial ocean-going ships to specialized offshore service vessels, he has worked on vessel supervision, logistics, and support in the demanding West Africa region. Eduard’s prime focus is on subjects including but not limited to vessel ergonomics and ensuring compliance with operational requirements for new high-performance and high-efficiency vessel designs.
Arthur Fraccaro
Business Development Manager
Arthur Fraccaro is Business Development Manager for Eureka Naval Craft, specifically focusing on Asia and Pacific defense markets.
Arthur is also a Business Development Manager for AIRCAT Vessels. He holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Transport Logistics and a Diploma in Naval Architecture. With strong experience in international trade, he has held various roles in service companies, including as Managing Director of a logistics transport company in Africa, before specializing in marine logistics. He joined AIRCAT in 2023 as a Technical Assistant alongside Eduard Ercegovic to deepen his knowledge of Surface Effect Ships, thereafter becoming AIRCAT’s Business Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Asia market.
